About The Job:
- Competitive Pay: $30.00 per hour
- Schedule: Variable schedule 5 days a week (Monday - Sunday); Weekend availability required
- Shift Times: Rotating, 8-hour shifts
- Duration: 5 weeks, with potential for permanent placement
- Department: Cancer Center Medical Records

- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of Commercial B driving experience with a valid license and a clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift and carry 50-75 pounds
- Must pass color-blind and drug/alcohol screen tests
- Valid California Driver's License - Commercial Class A/B
- Medical Examiner's Certificate (Form MCSA-5876)

As a Hospital Transporter/Driver, you'll play an essential role in ensuring patients receive timely, safe, and compassionate care throughout their hospital journey. Your day will involve transporting patients between inpatient units, the Emergency Department, outpatient clinics, and other hospital departments while prioritizing their comfort, dignity, and safety. You'll respond to transport requests using the hospital's tracking system, communicate effectively with clinical staff, and help maintain a smooth patient flow across the facility. In addition to patient transport, you'll assist with cleaning transport equipment, follow hospital safety protocols, and contribute to a positive experience for patients, visitors, and your healthcare team.
