Senior Financial Analyst POST NUMBER: 483850

Irvine, CA

My client is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join their team!

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial performance, trends, and variances; provide actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Build and maintain financial models for forecasting, scenario analysis, risk assessment, and investment decisions.

  • Prepare and present regular and ad hoc reports for leadership, highlighting KPIs and business drivers.

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and ERP/FP&A processes by consolidating inputs and validating assumptions.

  • Ensure data accuracy through validation, reconciliation, and audit processes.

  • Calculate and oversee commissions and performance-based bonuses with accuracy and compliance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with business goals.

  • Mentor junior analysts and support special projects and leadership initiatives.

Technical Requirements :

  • Excel (advanced): financial modeling, VBA, Macros, pivot tables, lookups.

  • Familiarity with Power BI, ERP systems, and SQL.

  • Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field.

  • 5 years of experience in corporate financial analysis, business intelligence, or data analytics.

  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
