Essential Functions

• Interview employees in various roles to help create engaging, informative stories for internal and external audiences.
• Write approximately 1-3 stories per week for the company newsletter.
• Partner closely with the PR specialist to research potential media outlets, write pitches and news releases, and coordinate interviews as appropriate.
• Work with Corporate Communications intern to curate assets for upcoming company milestone anniversary campaign
• Work with the video/multimedia team to help coordinate and execute video shoots for internal and external audiences.

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations or another related field
• Strong writing skills
• Strong problem-solving capabilities
• Analytical and communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Excel, Word and Power Point

Working Conditions

• Operating a computer or other office devices for the majority of the workday
• May occasionally need to move packages up to 10 pounds such as office supplies or equipment
• Must be able to communicate with others in person, over the phone, and in writing.
• Must be able to read and interpret various electronic and written documents.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.58 - $32.02 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
