Shift Supervisor - Autonomous Rideshare

Royalty Staffing is helping our client find Shift Supervisors to lead a team of Vehicle Operators (VOs), ensuring they understand and execute both short- and long-term operational goals.

In this role, you’ll be a hands-on leader, working alongside your team daily to ensure all software and hardware tests are executed to high standards. You will collaborate closely with other leaders within fleet operations to safely and efficiently drive day-to-day vehicle fleet operations.

Location - Los Angeles, CA, United States

Work environment - In-person

Expected pay - $41.00 USD Per Hour

Schedule - Full time (usually 30+ hours/week)

Assignment length - OngoingContract

Available Shift- Wednesday-Sunday, 3:45 PM-12:15 AM


RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support vehicle operators in daily operations and ensure adherence to procedures and standards
• Complete administrative tasks related to team coordination, scheduling, and shift validation
• Motivate, mentor, and guide team members to meet performance and safety expectations
• Provide regular written and verbal performance feedback to direct reports
• Foster a safety-first, inclusive, and open communication culture
• Serve as a point of contact for contractors, ensuring clarity of responsibilities and execution of assigned tasks
• Develop subject matter expertise in proprietary vehicle operations software and systems
• Support operational missions in a variety of roles, both in and out of vehicles
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership

Requirements

• 2+ years autonomous vehicle industry or operations experience

• 2 years of autonomous vehicle operator experience and active AVT permit
• Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality Proven ability to problem solve and improve operational efficiency
• Proactive mindset and resourcefulness
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues
• Must pass an MVR check no tickets or accidents in the last 3 years
• Experience as an Instructor or Lead within an operations team, or equivalent management or leadership experience
• Experience in leading or managing a highly cross functional team
