Office Team Support Associate
Accounting Breeze Title: Office Team Support Associate Reports To: Office Manager Position: Full-time Hourly
The Office Team Support Associate performs general administrative tasks in support of the Accounting Breeze Team. This position supports the needs of the internal team.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Dependability and “on-time” attendance are “must-have” behaviors for this role
- Assist with filing documents (physically and digitally), scanning confidential information, organizing digital and physical files, answering phone calls and emails, and other office tasks
- As requested, call or email 3rd party software providers and various tax agencies to research and answer the team's software and tax-related questions
- Able to accurately relay answers from software vendors and agencies back to team members for quick and thorough problem-solving
- General clerical duties as assigned
- Collect and prepare information for various operational reports
- Provide confidential administrative support to leadership and others as requested
- Interact with internal and external customers
- Collaborate with all internal team members
- Other projects or duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
- HS Diploma/GED and 1 + years of relative experience working with internal and external customers or other related experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented
- Team oriented mindset
- Strong organizational skills
- Efficient with time management, i.e., finish tasks on time and as instructed
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multitask effectively and produce accurate, timely results in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, i.e., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
- This position must pass a post-offer background test
Physical Demands and Work Environment :
- Working in an office environment
- Operating phone and office equipment
- Lifting, carrying, and sorting various office supplies
- Attendance and punctuality are essential job functions
