Travel RN - Detention Facility - California City, CA

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work at a Detention Facility in California City, CA.
Assignment Details:
• Location: California City ICE Detention Center – 22844 Virginia Blvd, California City, CA 93505
• Setting: Secure detention facility
• Shift: Nights (open availability required)
• Schedule: 36/48 rotation
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Pay: Competitive pay packages (contact Tiffany for details)
• Travel Stipends available for those who qualify
Minimum Qualifications:
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Active RN license (CA or compact state)
• 1+ year of professional nursing experience
• U.S. Citizenship (required for ICE clearance)
• Valid driver’s license
• Must live over 70 miles away
Responsibilities:
• Administer medications and assist providers during exams/treatments
• Assess, plan, and deliver patient care for inmates/residents
• Supervise LPNs and non-licensed medical staff
• Respond to medical emergencies and maintain accurate documentation
• Ensure safety, security, and compliance with facility policies
• Receive full training and comply with facility Standard Operating Procedures to meet standards for accrediting agencies, specifically Joint Commission guidelines, CMS standards, BSH policy and directives, HHSC standards, rules, and directives
