We are currently seeking a Radiation Therapist to join the Radiation Oncology department at Providence St. Joseph Health Care (PSJHC). This is a 13-week travel contract opportunity with no call requirement. The ideal candidate is experienced in delivering external beam radiation therapy using state-of-the-art planning systems and technologies. Local candidates are welcome.

• Administer external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) to oncology patients as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.

• Operate linear accelerators and ensure accurate patient setup using immobilization devices.

• Perform pretreatment procedures including tumor localization, mold and shield fabrication, and beam modification.

• Conduct daily imaging using CBCT/kV/mV systems to confirm patient positioning.

• Collaborate with the radiation oncology team to ensure patient safety and effective treatment outcomes.

• Document all treatment delivery activities accurately within the charting system.

• Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety and isolation protocols.

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent experience in radiation therapy

• Certifications:

  • ARRT (T)

  • BLS (American Heart Association)

  • Active Washington State Radiation Therapist License (no pending license accepted)

• Charting System: Required any system experience is acceptable

• Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program

• Experience:

  • At least one year of recent clinical experience as a Radiation Therapist

  • Proficiency in external beam therapy and IMRT setup preferred

• License:

  • ARRT (T) National Certification

  • Washington State Radiation Therapy License Must be active

  • BLS AHA
