Inside Sales Manager

Keating Dental Lab is a fast-paced, family-owned dental laboratory based in Irvine, CA. We are seeking a driven and hands-on Inside Sales Manager to lead our in-house sales and customer service team. As a key member of the leadership team, this role will report directly to the President and play a critical role in driving sales growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
Job Summary:
The Inside Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing inbound and outbound sales activities, managing a team of customer service and sales representatives, and contributing directly to revenue growth. This position requires a highly motivated individual who can lead by example—actively making sales calls while coaching and developing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership & Team Management
- Manage the daily operations of inside sales and customer service teams to ensure high performance and exceptional customer support.
- Actively make outbound sales calls to prospective and existing customers to generate new business and support account retention.
- Lead, coach, and mentor sales and customer service representatives, fostering a collaborative and results-driven team culture.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans, call campaigns, and customer engagement strategies in coordination with the leadership team.
- Set and monitor individual and team KPIs, providing feedback and support to drive continuous improvement.
- Assist in the hiring, training, and ongoing development of sales and customer service staff.
- Analyze sales and customer service performance data to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Ensure consistent delivery of outstanding customer experiences and effective issue resolution.
- Provide regular reporting and updates to executive leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of inside sales or call center sales leadership experience.
- 7+ years of total sales experience, with a strong track record of personal sales performance.
- Hands-on experience in Government contracting or RFP management strongly preferred.
- Proven experience managing customer service and sales teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills for RFPs and compliance reporting.
- An ability to lead by example through direct customer outreach and engagement.
- Dental and/or dental laboratory industry experience is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
