An extremely well‑funded, YC‑backed Series A start-up is building a next‑generation platform that sits at the intersection of data, automation, and high‑stakes decision‑making .

The product is already live, widely used, and growing quickly. The next chapter is about deepening the platform , scaling carefully, and raising the technical bar across systems that must be reliable, explainable, and correct .

This is a role for Senior / Staff engineers who want to work close to the core.

• Core application and platform systems
• Complex backend and data heavy workflows

Requirements:

You’re likely a strong fit if you:

• Have 8+ years of professional Full Stack software engineering experience – with a Backend Lean
• Have TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, Python - Experience with data driven or intelligent systems is helpful but not required
• Have owned or significantly shaped production systems
• Have experience working on Complex Backend systems at Infrastructure level
• Are comfortable making architectural trade-offs with incomplete information
• Have experience in early‑stage or fast‑moving environments
• Are self‑directed, communicative, and pragmatic
• Prefer building durable systems over shipping throwaway code
• Ideally have some experience with AI/ML – Chatbots/ fine-tuning models etc
• Computer Science Degree is a bonus.
