ORTHOPEDIC NURSE NAVIGATOR - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 48 months of Medical Surgical - Orthopedic Unit experience.

• 6 months of Epic experience is required within the last 12 months.

• BSN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• No current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:- Previous program development and implementation experience with a minimum of four (4) years of clinical nursing experience.- Thorough knowledge of TJC Disease-Specific and other regulatory requirements.

Preferred Skills/Experience:- Recent experience in orthopedics preferred.

Preferred Credentials:- Clinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner certification preferred.

Unit Details:- Provides care coordination and education for joint replacement patients from pre-operative class through recovery, including patient and family education, risk factor identification, psychosocial support, follow-up throughout recovery, and community resources.- Supports development, implementation, and evaluation of the Joint Replacement Program and related educational materials for patients, families, and clinical staff.- Uses Microsoft Word and Excel.

Shift & Scheduling:- Mon-Fri.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required
