Job DescriptionPerform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories, taking vital signs, and evaluating current dental conditions to inform treatment.
Acquire and interpret necessary medical imaging (X-rays), ensuring high image quality and strict adherence to infection control protocols.
Provide detailed health education and counseling on proper oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive strategies.
Assist the Dentist during various procedures, including the use of four-handed dentistry techniques for enhanced efficiency and patient comfort.
Accurately document all treatments, observations, and patient interactions using electronic health records (EHR) systems (Dentrix/Eaglesoft).
Maintain a sterile and safe environment by rigorously following aseptic techniques and infection prevention and control standards.
Ensure the confidentiality of patient information and maintain full HIPAA compliance in all documentation and patient record management.
Collaborate with the dental team on treatment planning, documentation review, and medical coding for seamless patient care delivery.

Shift & ScheduleMonday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
One-hour lunch break provided.
Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays are non-working days.
Requirements- Basic life support
- Driver’s license
- General Dentistry
- Licensed dental hygienist
- X-ray / Radiography Certification
License: Active and unrestricted Registered Dental Hygienist license in the State of California.
Experience: Prior experience working in a dental office or clinic setting.
Clinical Skills: Proficiency in all core dental hygiene tasks, including dental scaling, patient assessment, and diagnostic evaluation.
Technical Skills: Competence in operating medical imaging equipment for image acquisition (e.g., bitewing x-ray, cephalometric x-ray).
Knowledge: Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
Compliance: Thorough knowledge of and commitment to HIPAA compliance and healthcare infection control procedures.
Attributes: Excellent patient care skills, attention to detail in medical records management, and strong focus on patient safety and comfort.
Preferences- General Dentistry
Familiarity and working experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Experience or comfort working with pediatric patients (pediatric dentistry).
Experience with advanced imaging, such as Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT).
Background or training in medical coding.
