Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Banker Positions, including Client Service Representative and New Accounts banking professionals, for a opportunity in Los Altos, CA. Key Responsibilities

- Open and maintain consumer and business checking accounts, savings accounts, CDs, IRAs, and related banking products.
- Process new account transactions, teller transactions, account maintenance requests, and customer inquiries with accuracy and professionalism.
- Recommend and cross-sell banking products and services based on customer needs while supporting branch growth goals.
- Ensure account documentation is complete, accurate, and properly uploaded into the core banking system.
- Maintain compliance with Bank Secrecy Act requirements, information security standards, and applicable banking regulations.
- Partner with branch team members to provide excellent customer service and resolve account issues in person and by phone.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay range: $20.00 to $23.00 per hour.
- Location: Los Altos, CA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Open new consumer accounts and assist with basic business account services.
- Process teller transactions, customer banking requests, and account maintenance accurately and efficiently.
- Support branch growth through relationship building, product recommendations, and dependable daily performance.
- Maintain cash handling, balancing, documentation, security, and compliance standards.

- 3 to 5 years of relevant banking, teller, customer service, cash handling, or financial services experience.
- Experience opening consumer accounts is required.
- Experience processing teller transactions and maintaining balancing accuracy is required.
- Strong knowledge of customer service standards in a professional branch banking environment.
- Ability to follow banking procedures, security guidelines, confidentiality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Working knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act requirements and information security practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and banking software.
- Strong attention to detail when handling transactions, account documentation, and customer information.
- Professional communication skills with the ability to assist customers clearly, courteously, and confidently.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work effectively as part of a branch team.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience as a bank teller, personal banker, new accounts representative, or client service representative.
- Experience opening basic business accounts, trust and estate accounts, or more complex business accounts.
- Familiarity with core banking systems, account-opening procedures, transaction processing, and cash drawer balancing.
- Experience supporting Treasury Services such as Remote Deposit Capture, armored services, or courier services.
- Previous supervisory, backup supervisor, or branch operations support experience.
- Bilingual communication skills may be helpful in serving a diverse customer base.
