Customer Service Order Processor
A stable and growing manufacturing company in Montclair, CA is seeking an experienced Customer Service Order Processor, for a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional with manufacturing order management experience who enjoys working closely with customers, sales, engineering, production, shipping, and accounting teams.

Key Responsibilities- Process high-volume customer orders with complex product configurations, technical part numbers, and detailed specifications.
- Review purchase orders, customer documentation, and order requirements for accuracy before releasing orders to production.
- Serve as the main point of contact between customers, sales, engineering, production, shipping, and accounting to support timely fulfillment.
- Monitor open orders, production schedules, and shipment timelines while providing proactive updates to customers and internal teams.
- Research and resolve order discrepancies, shipping issues, freight claims, warranty requests, returns, and product questions.
- Maintain accurate order information in the ERP system and support process improvements for smoother order flow. Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire, Full-Time.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Manage customer order entry and order processing for manufacturing products.- Review technical specifications, product configurations, and purchase order details before production release.
- Coordinate with internal departments to support production scheduling, order fulfillment, shipping, and customer updates.
- Resolve order issues, discrepancies, returns, warranty requests, and shipment-related concerns.
- 3+ years of customer service, order management, inside sales support, or account management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience processing complex orders with technical part numbers, detailed specifications, or product configurations.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows, production schedules, and order fulfillment processes.
- ERP system experience required, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
- Ability to prioritize multiple orders, maintain accuracy, meet deadlines, and support a positive customer experience. Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual English and Spanish.
- Experience with Sage 100, MAS90, or a similar manufacturing ERP system.
- Experience handling freight claims, shipping discrepancies, warranty issues, damage claims, or product returns.
- Previous experience mentoring team members or supporting customer service process improvements.
- Interest in growing into a leadership role within customer service or order management.
