RevMed: EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY (San Francisco)

Company : Revolution Medicines (NASDAQ : RVMD) is a clinical-stage precision oncology company focused on developing novel targeted therapies to inhibit frontier targets in RAS-addicted cancers. The Companys R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) Inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins, and RAS Companion Inhibitors for use in combination treatment strategies.

Position Overview : The Executive Director, Intellectual Property will serve as a senior leader within the Legal function, responsible for helping develop and drive IP strategy across all phases of drug discovery, development, and commercialization. Reporting to the VP, Intellectual Property, this individual will facilitate IP integration with R&D, BD, and Commercial functions, and help shape RevMeds long-term IP portfolio to sustain competitive differentiation globally.

Experience : The ideal candidate will have 15+ years of relevant IP experience with a mix of law firm and in-house experience preferred. Experience in managing IP practitioners / staff required. Experience with adversarial IP proceedings, including IP disputes, litigation, IPRs, PGRs and European / foreign oppositions and similar matters required.

Location / Relocation : Redwood City, CA. This is a hybrid role that requires at least 3 days in the office. Local candidates strongly preferred.

Compensation : The base salary range for this full-time position is $306,000 to $350,000 for candidates working onsite at RevMeds headquarters in Redwood City, California. The range displayed is intended to be the salary for an individual working onsite in Redwood City and will be adjusted for the local market in which a candidate is based. RevMeds salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, market dynamics, and relevant education or training. Base salary is one part of the overall total rewards program at RevMed, which includes competitive cash compensation, robust equity awards, strong benefits, and significant learning and development opportunities.

Bar : Candidate must be a member in good standing of the California Bar, or eligible for in-house registration in California. Candidate must be admitted to practice before the USPTO.
