Marketing Communications & Events Manager - Remote
Overview:
The Marketing Communications & Events Manager will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand presence and engagement through strategic marketing communications and event management. This position is essential for driving our marketing initiatives and ensuring that our events resonate with our target audience, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of the organisation.
Responsibilities:
1. Social Media & Creative Design
- Channel Ownership: Own the LinkedIn strategy, including weekly content planning, high-impact copywriting, and scheduling aligned with commercial priorities.
- Graphic Design: Produce visually stunning graphics for social media, email headers, and digital assets that maintain a premium brand aesthetic.
- AI-Driven Workflows: Leverage AI tools to streamline content ideation and copywriting, ensuring a high volume of consistent, quality output.
- Content Growth: Execute strategies to scale engagement, such as doubling webinar registrations through creative promotion.
2. Email Marketing & CRM
- Campaign Management: Develop and deploy segmented email campaigns (via ActiveCampaign or similar) targeting customers and global partners.
- Salesforce Integration: Manage Salesforce Campaigns to track lead attribution, ensure proper data flow from events, and monitor the health of the marketing funnel.
- Performance Analytics: Use data and AI to analyze campaign performance, surfacing actionable recommendations to improve open rates and conversions.
3. Global Event Management
- End-to-End Execution: Oversee the lifecycle of global trade shows—from initial evaluation and budget approval to on-site execution and post-event follow-up.
- Vendor & RFP Leadership: Lead the vendor RFP process for large-scale events (e.g., ACT Expo), aggressively managing costs while securing high-quality partnerships.
- Thought Leadership: Proactively secure speaking opportunities for leadership and coordinate cross-functionally with Sales and Product to align booth messaging.
4. Partner & Webinar Marketing
- Co-Marketing: Lead marketing initiatives with global partners, coordinating joint social posts, blogs, and asset sharing for mutual brand amplification.
- Webinar Production: Project manage the full webinar lifecycle, including content alignment, dry runs, and on-demand editing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-6 years of experience in marketing communications and event management.
- Proven track record of successfully managing marketing campaigns and events from conception to execution.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and a "good eye" for modern, professional graphics.
- Strong experience managing Salesforce Campaigns and Email Service Providers (ActiveCampaign, Hubspot, or similar).
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools for content ideation and performance analysis.
- Experience managing large event budgets and conducting vendor RFPs to achieve significant cost savings.
- Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into engaging social and email content.
