About Let Wash

Let Wash is building the commerce layer that makes local service businesses discoverable and bookable across AI platforms. We're starting with car washes — helping local operators get found, booked, and grown as customer behavior shifts from search engines to AI assistants. We're early, moving fast, and looking for someone who wants to build the go-to-market motion from the ground up, not run someone else's playbook.

The Role

This is a founding growth hire, and it's a build-together role. You'll own customer acquisition end-to-end — social media, email and outbound campaigns, and marketing — working side by side with the founder, not off in a silo. We hustle together and hit the ground together. You won't be handed a finished process; you'll build it, test it, and scale what works.

How We Work — AI-Native (Important)

We're an AI marketplace, and we expect our growth to be built AI-first. You should already live in the modern AI marketing stack and be hungry to push it further — using AI to do the work of a much bigger team. For example:

  • Outbound & cold calling — tools like Apollo and AI calling agents to find, reach, and qualify prospects at scale.
  • Email & lifecycle — AI-driven email platforms like Loops to build and personalize campaigns.
  • Customer acquisition — growth tools that drive signups and app downloads.
  • Content generation — AI video (Sora, Luma) and AI voice (ElevenLabs) to produce marketing content fast, with no production team.

You don't need to have used every one of these — but you should be fluent in this world and pick up new tools fast.

What You'll Do

  • Run multichannel outreach: social content, email sequences, cold calls, and direct messaging to local service businesses.
  • Drive customer acquisition and, together with the founder, book and close local operators (starting with car washes).
  • Join the founder on occasional in-person visits to local businesses in the Bay Area — for market and marketing observation, not solo door-knocking.
  • Build the growth playbook: messaging, targeting, cadence, and conversion — documented so it can scale.
  • Own the numbers: track pipeline, conversion, and activation, and iterate weekly.
  • Act like an owner — spot opportunities, propose experiments, and move without waiting to be told.

Who You Are

  • AI-native to the core — you reach for AI tools by default and get more done than a full team could.
  • Strong on marketing and growth, and comfortable on the sales side too — we run outreach and closing together, so you won't be carrying sales alone.
  • Genuinely comfortable with cold outreach — email, phone, and in person.
  • Scrappy and self-directed; you thrive with autonomy and ambiguity.
  • Strong written and spoken English for US local-business outreach.
  • Based in or near the Bay Area for occasional field visits.
  • Bonus: prior early-stage startup, local-services, or SMB experience — and *Spanish is a real plus for connecting with local operators.

Compensation & Structure

  • Contract role (1099), part-time to start, with room to grow.
  • Monthly retainer + equity + performance bonus per business/subscription acquired.
  • Hybrid: mostly remote with occasional Bay Area field work alongside the founder.
