Contracts Billing & Accounting Associate - Clinical Research

Description

The Contracts, Billing and Accounting Associate negotiates and executes clinical trial agreements/contracts, performs billing activities, reconciles against payments and provides detailed accounting for reporting purposes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Basic understanding of clinical trial protocols (rationale, eligibility criteria, study design, study medication and comparators, mechanism of action, required procedures, etc.)
• Prepare clinical trial budgets in alignment with protocol versus time and effort required by internal and external partners
• Facilitate contract negotiations, approvals and execute final version
• Oversee invoicing, billing and payment activities
• Track achievement of clinical trial activities and book revenue, expenses, payments, fees and other financial accounting
• Develop financial reports and analysis for internal stakeholders
• Perform quality control checks and reconcile any discrepancies

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business preferred
• Minimum 2 years experience in accounting duties

Skills:

• Prior experience as a financial analyst, accountant or bookkeeper
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and other Computer Use
• Ability to organize a high-volume workload and prioritize tasks accordingly
• Strong work ethic, personal integrity, collaborative, timeliness and dependability

Schedule and Location:

• 8 Hour Day Shift, Monday to Friday
• On-site in our Cerritos, CA Headquarters
