Summary Description
The Human Resources Clerk VI provides administrative and project support to the Lemoore East plant, under the direction of the Human Resources Manager & Human Resources Generalist. In addition to assisting with general administrative duties, the HR Clerk provides advice, assistance, and follow-up on company policies, procedures, health benefits, and coordinates the resolution of specific policy-related and procedural issues and inquiries.

Recruiting, Staffing, and Retention
- Assists HR Generalist with planning to ensure proper non-exempt staffing levels within the production and support departments.
- Assists with coordination and facilitation of orientation process for new employees.

Record-keeping and Reporting
- Confidentially coordinates filing system for HR-specific records and employee files such as personnel, legal, and medical files.
- Assists with completion, tracking, and reporting of employee attendance policy, & educating employees on attendance policy.
- Tracks and maintains annual and single day vacation process for union personnel.
- Maintains Kronos Attendance Editor record keeping system.
- Tracks and maintains job bidding process for union personnel.

Human Resources Information Systems
- Maintains existing input into HRIS system and is site subject matter expert on processes related to SAP & Kronos time clock system.
- Liaison and trainer for employees in regards to questions related to H2R, Employee Self-Service (MyLeprino), and time clock.
- Prepares, analyzes, and distributes reports that are necessary to carry out the functions of the department.

- Establishes and maintains an accurate and employee friendly environment.

Employee Benefits
- Provides day-to-day benefits administration services. Assists employees with claim issue resolution.
- Coordinates and helps with facilitation of benefits orientations and other benefits training.
- Conducts the annual benefits open enrollment process.
- Facilitates, monitors, and maintains plant Leave of Absence and FMLA program, including distribution of paperwork, tracking status and time along with progress of claims, and ensuring proper documentation is received.

- Manages the day to day uniform orders, changes, and issues.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience
- Must be flexible to support a 24/7 operation
- Requires a high school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of administrative-related work experience
- Experience with Office365 (including Profiecient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); and can adequately troubleshoot questions. Typing 45 WPM,
- Experience with different office equipment, including printers, copiers and fax machines
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
- Some experience in a Human Resources position or professional office environment, preferably in industrial operations.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, dairy or food manufacturing a plus.
Hourly Wage Rate:
$25.21- $28.99
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities/Competencies
- Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and practices beneficial.
- Working knowledge of benefits and compensation programs preferred.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite programs.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- High level of organizational skills and problem solving.
- Creative thinker with a process improvement mindset.
Working Relationships: The Human Resources Clerk reports directly to the Human Resources Generalist with no direct reports. The HR Clerk has a direct working relationship with Safety personnel and the functional department managers and supervisors, with frequent contact to the corporate human resources staff. This position frequently interacts with all employees at the plant level across three shifts.
