Payroll Supervisor

Description Are you ready to lead and streamline payroll operations in a dynamic organization? Robert Half is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Payroll Supervisor to oversee payroll processes for one of our valued clients. This is an exciting opportunity to combine leadership, payroll expertise, and process improvement in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities: + Manage and supervise the entire payroll process, including accurate and timely processing of employee salaries, benefits, bonuses, and deductions. + Ensure compliance with state and federal payroll laws and regulations. + Reconcile payroll-related accounts and prepare payroll reports for management and external stakeholders. + Address payroll discrepancies and resolve employee inquiries regarding pay, benefits, and deductions. + Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure proper data integration and accuracy in payroll systems. + Assist with audits, ensuring thorough documentation is maintained. + Lead and mentor payroll staff, providing guidance, training, and fostering professional development. + Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement streamlined procedures using payroll software and tools. Requirements + Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field. CPP certification (Certified Payroll Professional) highly preferred. + 5+ years of payroll experience, including supervisory roles. Experience with multi-state or global payroll is a plus. + Proficiency with payroll software (e.g., ADP, Workday, Paylocity) and strong Microsoft Excel skills. + Strong leadership, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Ability to handle confidential material with integrity.
