Residential Plumbing Field Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Residential Plumbing Field Supervisor to provide leadership, guidance, and support to our residential plumbing team. This role will play a key part in ensuring quality, efficiency, and growth within our service division.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop residential service technicians to ensure high-quality work and professional growth.

• Design, implement, and improve field training processes and procedures.

• Oversee daily operations, including jobsite attendance, scheduling, quality control, and performance management.

• Conduct routine safety meetings and provide hands-on training for field staff.

• Perform jobsite inspections and enforce company policies and standards.

• Support hiring, performance reviews, and when necessary, terminations.

• Partner with Dispatch to manage timecards, approve schedules, and ensure seamless communication between the field, office, and customers.

• Assist the Director of Building Maintenance with division leadership and growth initiatives.

• Handle service calls and dispatches through field service software.

• Prepare estimates, job plans, and layouts as needed.

• Provide training in residential sales prospecting, quoting, and closing.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of residential plumbing service and repair experience, including training and managing multiple plumbers/projects.

• 5+ years of residential sales experience, with proven ability in prospecting, quoting, and closing.

• Supervisory background as a Manager, Supervisor, or Lead Technician.

• Advanced knowledge of plumbing systems, construction practices, and residential building codes.

• Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

• Strong English communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing).

• Proficient in smartphone technology and Microsoft Office software.

• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, make logical decisions, and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
