Product Support Analyst - Telework Hybrid

Job Description and Duties

This position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento.

DMV's Information Systems Division (ISD) is seeking a motivated individual to serve as a Product Support Analyst. Under the direction of the Product Quality Group Manager, Information Technology (IT) Manager I, the IT Specialist I is responsible for a variety of technical and analytical tasks in support of the Enterprise Modernization Project. The IT Speciaist I assists in planning, developing, and implementing technological solutions within broadly stated guidelines. Responsibilities include supporting project activities, coordinating with stakeholders, and performing technical tasks.

The role is responsible for:

• Assisting in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and documentation.

• Help with tracking and approving functional deliverables.

• Performing impact for system changes and assists with testing and validation

• Involved with project transitions and system upgrades

This Limited Term position may be extended to 24 months and may become Permanent.

Working Conditions

Telework is available. Telework requires California residency.

DMV operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The incumbent may be required to carry a work cell phone and laptop. There may also be times when the incumbent is required to attend an out-of-town conference or work evenings and weekends to maintain project schedules.
