Position Overview:

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support a collaborative rehabilitation team in Alameda, CA . This per-diem role focuses on delivering patient-centered care under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping individuals regain mobility and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Monitor progress and report updates to supervising PTs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with care standards.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Licensure: Valid CA PTA license; BLS certification.
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience required in the relevant field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in therapeutic modalities, exercise techniques, and EMR documentation.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork.
