The Wellness Coordinator acts as a primary liaison between families and staff, and school and community-based service providers. Representative Duties of this position are: provide oversight and coordination of campus-based services and service providers; actively engage families, caregivers, and the community; identify campus resources and gaps in service; triage and connect students and families to appropriate services and provide ongoing case management; provide direct service and/or crisis management when necessary; address school climate and safety needs; support training needs of teachers and school staff in the areas of school climate, safety and health; develop and/or support data collection infrastructure and input data to assist with the data driven decision making and determinate of program effectiveness; function as a complement to or part of a school’s multidisciplinary team or the equivalent; coordinate linkage of identified students to appropriate services; provide and/or organize professional development and parent education as needed. Education and experience: Master’s Degree in Social Work or Psychology and Licensed LCSW, LMFT or LPCC required. Ability to supervise is required. Experience working in schools is preferred. Spanish speaking is preferred.
