Lead Bartender/Server
What will I be doing?
As a Lead Bartender/Server at the Embassy Suites San Francisco Airport - Oyster Point, you will be responsible for the following job duties:- Lead and support the Taste team by providing hands-on leadership, guidance, coaching, lead by example, consistent communication to ensure smooth operations.
- Manage the guest experience at a high level by handling guest recovery, maintain awareness and hospitality standards to make positive impact on stay score, restaurant satisfaction and problem resolution.
- Responsible for inventory control, product flow and waste management. Assist with order requisitions for alcohol, N/A, mixers, garnish, and supplies. Manage the stock by following replenishment policies.
- Train, mentor, and provide feedback to Taste staff. Assist with onboarding and training new hires.
- Ensure consistent setup bar and restaurant set up in accordance to the service and cleanliness standards.
- Maintain all compliance and documentations. Ensure regular use of bar long and accurate reporting to protect the business and reduce risk.
- Participate in F&B meetings to provide feedback and suggestions.
- Collaborate with culinary team to ensure timeliness of food, consistent plating presentation, accuracy of orders being delivered, 86 items.
- Manage the team’s rest and meal breaks. Provide service recap at the end of each shift.
- Administration work as needed (to include but not limited to: creating lists, updating inventory, going through POS system for price consistency, creating menus).
- Receive, record and alcohol deliveries.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
