Job Purpose
The Logistics Operations Coordinator supports the Customer Service Supervisor/Manager and, when applicable, the Logistics Analyst, in the execution of day-to-day activities related to Line of Business (LOB) operations and customer requirements.
This role serves as a key liaison between customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure compliance with logistics procedures and the achievement of operational and customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Operations
Identify and address recurring internal process failures, redundancies, and inefficiencies.
Utilize APLL systems to interpret, input, and resolve data discrepancies.
Coordinate global operational requirements with customers and internal stakeholders.
Maintain close collaboration with carriers, co-loaders, airfreight forwarders, contractors, warehouses, and internal operations teams to ensure smooth logistics flow.
Establish and maintain effective logistics procedures and documentation.
Coordinate shipments with carriers, shippers, consignees, and global origin teams.
Ensure accurate cost accruals, billing, and revenue tracking.
Monitor and report operational non-compliance issues to the Supervisor, Service Integrity, or Global Origin teams, as required.
Customer Service
Execute daily operational activities according to established requirements and KPIs to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and concerns.
Prepare and communicate quotations to customers in line with company guidelines.
Provide exceptional customer service and coordinate cargo movements across the supply chain.
Prepare and analyze operational and customer reports to identify areas for improvement.
Experience & Qualifications
General Experience
1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in logistics, supply chain, import/export operations, or a related field.
Proven ability to perform with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Managerial / Coordination Experience
4 to 6 months of experience coordinating the work of others or leading small-scale operational tasks.
Language Requirement
English level: Minimum B2+ , ideally C1 (advanced).
Candidates must be able to communicate fluently with global teams, customers, and partners in both written and spoken English.
