About the Role

In this role, you will build high-scale, data-intensive systems to power the next generation of AI product capabilities. We’re looking for experienced, talented engineers who love taking systems from zero to one and then all the way through large-scale deployment.

This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.

In this role, you will:

• Design and build innovative high-scale data management systems to power novel product capabilities and advance the frontier of AI utility

• Work with a small, senior team of engineers and researchers to combine existing best practices with innovative approaches based on modern deep learning to develop industry-leading systems

You might thrive in this role if you:

• Have significant experience building, scaling, and optimizing data-intensive systems

• Have a voracious and intrinsic desire to learn and fill in missing skills, and an equally strong talent for sharing that information clearly and concisely with others

• Expertise in C++ is strongly preferred, though not required
