OB Hospitalist Physician (Folsom)

Overview
Mercy Medical Group (MMG), a large multi-specialty medical group in the Sacramento region, is looking to add a full time BC OB Hospitalist Physician to their team. Responsibilities would include covering the OB emergency department, covering patients in labor & delivery, providing emergency gynecological consults, and being available for surgical assist needs. Opportunity Highlights:

• Incoming physicians would be based out of Mercy Hospital of Folsom
• Hospital does approximately 600-700 births/year
• Join a growing program which will consist of 3 dedicated OB Hospitalists and support from a large pool of clinic-based doctors in the program
• 24 hour back-up OB on-call
• Full time would be twelve 12 hour shifts/month and shifts can be done as 24 hour shifts.
• Five 12 hour back-up shifts a month required (home call)
• Level I nursery with support from the Level III NICU at Mercy San Juan Medical Center

Compensation Range: $334,500- $334,500

Responsibilities

Diagnostic Procedures:

• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
• Perform procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation.
