Accounting Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support day-to-day financial operations and reporting within a fast-paced operating environment. This role partners closely with local leadership to ensure accurate financial data, strong controls, and timely insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.

The Accounting Manager will be hands-on across core accounting activities, including financial reporting, close processes, forecasting support, and operational analysis. This position offers broad exposure to accounting functions and works cross-functionally with operations, finance, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Support routine and ad hoc financial reporting to ensure timely, accurate, and actionable information
• Participate in monthly close activities, including account reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis
• Assist with short-term forecasts, periodic estimates, and annual planning processes
• Analyze operational costs, margins, and trends across key business drivers
• Oversee and review transactional accounting areas such as payables, receivables, and inventory-related activity
• Perform balance sheet reviews and maintain supporting schedules for select accounts
• Monitor capital activity, fixed assets, and long-term commitments
• Prepare supporting analyses and presentations for internal stakeholders
• Document processes and contribute to the maintenance of effective internal controls
• Partner with management on continuous improvement initiatives and financial transparency
• Manage multiple priorities independently in a deadline-driven environment
• Support additional projects and initiatives as business needs evolve

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience; operational or manufacturing exposure preferred
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close processes
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Comfortable working with detailed data while maintaining a big-picture perspective

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency with Excel (including formulas, lookups, pivots, and basic reporting tools)
• Experience working within ERP or financial reporting systems
• Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and reporting requirements
