We are seeking a Dairy Veterinarian who is dedicated to dairy herd health and reproduction, supporting long-standing family-owned dairies throughout the region.

We’re a collaborative, experienced veterinary team with deep roots in the dairy industry. Many of our client relationships span 20+ years, and we pride ourselves on being not just veterinarians, but trusted partners in herd management and farm success.

You’ll be working closely with Dr. Rodriguez, our lead dairy veterinarian , who has decades of experience in the field and a reputation for building strong client partnerships. He is passionate about mentoring and will provide ample guidance , making this an excellent opportunity for a newer grad eager to learn , or for a veterinarian wanting to deepen their expertise in herd health and production medicine.

Requirements

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Dairy/Herd Health Veterinarian , your work will focus on providing high-quality, preventive, and production-oriented care to large dairy herds. A typical day may include:

• Early morning herd health visits
• Reproductive work, pregnancy checks, and managing mastitis cases
• Preventive herd health programs, vaccines, and disease surveillance
• Certifying health documents (brucellosis, TB, etc.)
• Obstetrics, including fetal extractions and occasional C-sections
• Consulting with producers on herd management, production, and operations
• Maintaining strong, trusting client relationships built over years of service
• Participating in an on-call rotation (every 4th weekend) for emergency support
  
  

This is a 100% farm call role, serving herds that range from 3,000–5,000 cows, with approximately 150,000 animals in the region.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $125k–$135k , depending on experience + 20% production
