Construction Project Manager, Self Perform
Self Perform Construction is currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager. As a Construction Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of various self-perform mechanical construction projects. You will lead our internal Tesla Construction team and collaborate cross-functionally with design, construction management and manufacturing departments to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. What You'll Do Plan, estimate, coordinate, and oversee all phases of the construction project, ensuring it aligns with specifications and meets quality standardsSupervise and lead a multidisciplinary construction team, fostering a collaborative and safety-focused work environmentManage project timelines, budget, and resources to ensure efficient and cost-effective completion of the projectsIdentify project risks and opportunities, actively managing them throughout the project lifecycleCollaborate with design, manufacturing, facilities and commissioning teams to address design modifications and ensure compliance with regulationsDevelop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing concerns promptlyEnforce high standards for document configuration control and ensure incorporation of RFIs into final Record drawing What You'll Bring Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience5+ years of experience in managing large-scale construction projects, preferably within the industrial or manufacturing sector that were ground-up and/or retrofit projectsIn-depth knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and process systemsProficiency in material take offs and estimating from construction drawingsStrong skills in Construction baseline development, change control, cost/schedule performance, and variance analysisExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skillsExceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project challengesAbility to travel to various project locations as needed (up to 50%), often on short notice Benefits
