Civil/Environmental Engineer
Your impact
When it comes to environmental consulting, we’re passionate about helping our communities today to improve our tomorrow. We’re looking for a Civil/Environmental Engineer to support innovative waste solutions and other projects.
Based out of Florida or California, you’ll support solid waste, remediation, and sustainability projects for numerous public and private clients in key areas. Your responsibilities will include supporting and delivering projects through design, engineering, and site investigation and monitoring. You will help Jacobs advance the industry by delivering sustainable solutions that help our clients.
You’ll connect with other Jacobs’ practitioners throughout the US and Canadian s to design innovative and sustainable solutions for our clients. You’ll have opportunities to support the design of landfill and remediation liners, ET covers, dredge prisms, closure caps, compost facilities, transfer stations, MRFs, and other related features. As an associate engineer, you’ll have opportunities to lead design tasks that should harness your ability to delegate and work with engineers and other design practitioners who are both more junior and more senior than you. These opportunities will give excellent opportunities to grow as you mentor more junior practitioners and learn from more senior practitioners. You’ll develop and maintain strong client relationships to organically drive business through proposals, networking, and sole source opportunities.
Bring your engineering background, creativity, and desire to address many of today’s most prevalent waste, remediation, and sustainability issues, and we’ll empower you to deliver the boldest solutions for our clients.
