Manager - Global Business Services (GBS) - Strategy
- Lead GBS transformation initiatives spanning strategy, operating model design, governance, and implementation
- Assess current-state service delivery models, processes, and technologies to identify opportunities for improvement
- Design future-state operating models and processes that improve performance, scalability, and standardization
- Develop business cases, economic models, and executive-ready materials to support key decisions
- Translate business requirements into practical solutions enabled by digital, automation, AI, and workflow technologies
- Build trusted client relationships and drive alignment across business, functional, and technology stakeholders
- Support change management efforts to enable adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working
- Lead project teams, coach junior practitioners, and ensure high-quality deliverables
- Contribute to proposals, pursuits, and broader practice development activities
- Collaborate with Deloitte teams across the US, US-India, and global member firms to deliver client solutions
The team Deloitte's Global Business Services offering helps organizations transform corporate functions through centralized, optimized, and technology-enabled service delivery models. We help clients design, implement, and govern processes, controls, and policies that support resilient, agile, and cost-effective operations aligned to the priorities of CFOs, CAOs, and other enterprise leaders. Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- 8+ years of relevant consulting experience in a professional services environment, or in an industry transformation or strategy role
- 3+ years of direct people management experience, including leading teams on complex projects
- Experience with shared services, outsourcing, offshoring, or back-office functional optimization
- Experience designing, implementing, and optimizing service delivery models for multi-function or single-function organizations
- Strong financial modeling, business case development, and analytical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of ERP functionality and how it enables GBS operations
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Familiarity with ServiceNow, Salesforce, or other workflow and customer-oriented platforms
- Experience with digital transformation, AI, and automation technologies relevant to GBS operations
- Experience across multiple GBS functional pillars, such as HR, IT, Finance, Procurement, Commercial Operations, or Legal
- Ability to create compelling presentations and storyboards for executive and working teams
- Must be legally authorized to work in the US without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
- Ability to travel up to 50%, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred
- Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
- Certification in change management methodologies such as Prosci or ADKAR
- Experience supporting business process outsourcing vendor selection
- Ability to translate technology capabilities into process and operating model improvements
- Experience developing proposals and supporting pursuits
- MBA or other advanced degree
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $155,600 - $306,800. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
