We are on the lookout for a dynamic, detail-oriented, and highly experienced Consulting Appeals Specialist to join our prestigious legal team. This exciting role will involve working closely with our clients, providing unrivaled expertise in the appeals process, and offering strategic advice to ensure the best possible outcomes. This position requires a deep understanding of legal principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex legal issues.

Responsibilities:

As a Consulting Appeals Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert advice and guidance to clients throughout the appeals process, ensuring they are well-informed and prepared for all eventualities.
  • Reviewing and analyzing appeal cases, identifying key issues, and developing effective strategies to address them.
  • Collaborating with legal teams to prepare comprehensive appeal briefs and other necessary legal documents.
  • Representing clients in appeal hearings, effectively presenting arguments and advocating on their behalf.
  • Monitoring changes in legislation and case law that might affect the appeal process, and updating clients and team members accordingly.
  • Delivering professional, clear, and concise communication to clients, legal teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Managing multiple cases simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met and that all work is carried out to the highest possible standard.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Consulting Appeals Specialist position will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of successful appeal cases.
  • In-depth knowledge of state and federal appeal processes and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • High levels of professionalism and integrity, with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
