Construction Company is looking for a warehouse associate.

1st Shift

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Days: Monday – Friday

Warehouse Associate Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion. We need an ambitious and hardworking professional who does not mind working in hot or cold conditions and can work an entire shift on his/her feet. We value speed and accuracy above all else, so we require our Warehouse Associate who can pay careful attention on the job, follow instructions precisely and can double check his/her work before completing a task. The Warehouse Associate must have exceptional customer service skills. RJ’s will also train the right candidate. Individuals in this position must work cooperatively and productively with other associates with little supervision. You must work in a team-oriented environment. You must be able to communicate well with management and fellow employees. Ideal candidates have a very positive attitude. Responsibilities and Duties: • Order pulling, loading, unloading for all orders • Operating forklift • Assisting customers with orders and questions • Overall maintenance of warehouse and yard • Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise and notify supervisor immediately • Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion • Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts as needed • Ensuring correct receipts for all customer order before loading • Replenishing area inventory stock as required • Maintain a clean and safe work environment • Observe all safety policies and procedures • Maintain routine paperwork Requirements: • Bilingual (English/Spanish) • Exceptional customer service • Warehouse experience is preferred but not required • Overtime based on business need • Reliable and responsible • Steel toed shoes required upon hire Physical Demands and Abilities: • Ability to work with others and individually • Ability to follow directions • Attention to detail • Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 90 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations for the entire shift • Ability to stand up 8+ hours per day • Be able to work in temperatures up to 90 degrees • Ability to work safely in a fast pace & changing environment • Basic math skills
