Global Head of Total Rewards - Onsite in Mountain View, CA
We are recruiting an exceptional Global Head of Total Rewards to lead the strategy and execution of Compensation, Benefits, Equity, and other rewards frameworks. This is a critical leadership position on an innovative People team, and a role that is deeply integrated with other functional areas across P&C, Finance, Legal and the business at large.
This job is for you if you are a strong people manager and committed team player focused on outcomes and impact, are deeply experienced in Total Rewards, and are a creative and strategic thinker. The ideal candidate is experienced at taking concepts through to execution by employing strong project management skills, a data first mindset but also adding art to the science.. In our fast paced, start-up environment, you will need to be comfortable building and evolving programs and processes. You are a leader who is passionate about creating capacity by streamlining and automating work, leveraging digital tools to improve the employee experience, and providing exceptional service delivery and process execution.

What you will do
- Reporting to the Chief People Officer and working with other key stakeholders, lead the development and implementation of The Company's Total Rewards philosophy and programs, from design to execution. Collaborate with leaders across the organization on multi-year rewards strategy and plans
- Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, including collaborating with leadership to design executive compensation plans and equity-based incentives; ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to executive compensation
- Utilize data analytics to gather insights, make data-driven decisions, and measure the effectiveness of total rewards programs
- Educate employees and managers on the organization's total rewards programs, ensuring transparency and understanding
- Drive the adoption of our HR organization process improvements through accountability and high expectations for excellence
- Partner effectively with the HRBP team to ensure alignment and relevance of programs to all business groups; foster a continuous feedback loop to support effective communication
- Prepare complex rewards recommendation and analysis materials for Board of Director meetings; strategically partner with and manage relationships with external vendors on executive compensation reviews, equity analysis and insights vital to the Board of Directors, Compensation Committee and other audiences
- Guide pay equity studies, compliance, and pay for performance programs to meet and anticipate changing industry standards, remain competitive, and meet the evolving needs of Moveworks
- Collaborate with stakeholders within and outside of People team to develop strategies, programs and policies that continually elevate the team's service delivery and impact
- Own the project to develop job family architectures, career frameworks, leveling and associated rewards structures
- Clearly communicate company policies and ensure they're administered in compliance with all federal and state laws/regulations

- A visionary strategist and scaler, adept at connecting the dots between vision and the innovations and infrastructure required to achieve it
- An agile leader with strong project management skills, able to operate at all levels and across the People team. This role requires you to dive into the details while simultaneously leading transformative initiatives
- A creative thinker who is not confined to traditional approach, willing to explore new and/or unconventional strategies if the impact or doing so is greater than doing what has always been done
- Someone excited about creating automated workflows and harnessing the power of analytics while also recognizing the importance of a building a strong foundation and getting the basics right
- A self-starter who is comfortable with change and ambiguity
- A data enthusiast who brings a very detail-oriented, yet adaptable approach to problem solving
- A lifelong learner who is eager to grow and innovate in the Total Rewards field
Qualifications:
- 15+ years' experience leading across the various domains of Total Rewards in organizations, with progressive responsibility across compensation, benefits, and LTI/equity plan design and administration.
- A combination of experience in both high-growth and more established organizations
- Experience in both private and public company Total Rewards environments
- Demonstrated ability to build capabilities in a fast-paced environment with evolving infrastructure
- Exceptional skills in prioritization, managing multiple projects, and fostering effective collaboration
- Expertise developing and delivering communications that help employees understand the value of their total rewards and other benefits
- A strong external network that can be leveraged to support strategic objectives.
- B.A. or B.S. degree in Human Resources, Business, or other relevant subject area preferred
Compensation Base Range: $230,000 - $330,000
Compensation Structure: Base + Equity
- Our compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions or bonus plans.
