The Firm & Opportunity

An elite UK-headquartered global firm with a 200-year history and a growing, well-resourced presence in the United States seeks standout lawyers to join its projects and infrastructure practice. The firm is consistently ranked at the top of the market for infrastructure and projects work — including a Band 1 Chambers USA ranking and brings a depth of sector knowledge that few firms active in this space can match.

The firm is open to two profiles:

• Mid-level associates (3–5 years) with a strong foundation in project development, project finance, or infrastructure transactions
• Senior associates (5+ years) with meaningful experience managing complex transactions and advising across the capital stack

The Practice

This team advises on some of the most complex infrastructure projects under development in the US — spanning transportation, social infrastructure, and energy — across the full range of market participants: public sector clients, sponsors, equity investors, lenders, and contractors. The practice is built around P3 and alternative delivery structures, and associates work on matters from inception through close.

This is a platform where associates are given real responsibility, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to develop into a recognized infrastructure practitioner.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school; strong academic credentials
• 3+ years of transactional experience in project finance, infrastructure, or construction within a private practice setting
• Experience advising on project development, procurement, financing, or contract management
• California Bar admission or eligibility
