Etch Operator / Etch Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the electronics manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Etch Operator / Etch Technician to join their team. As an Etch Operator / Etch Technician, you will be part of the PCB fabrication department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, reliability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Etch Operator / Etch Technician

Location: Fremont, CA

Pay Range: $26$30/hr (DOE)

Shift: Graveyard shift (6-hour shifts from Monday through Friday starting at 10pm or 11pm) and Weekend shift (6-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday starting between 4am to 7am)

What's the Job?

• Operate PCB etching equipment following established process parameters
• Monitor etch rates, solution chemistry, temperatures, and conveyor speeds to ensure quality standards
• Inspect etched panels for line definition, undercutting, and defects to maintain high-quality output
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Record process data and production results accurately for quality control and process improvement

What's Needed?

• At least 2 years of experience as an Etch Operator or similar role in PCB manufacturing
• Understanding of etching chemistry and process controls
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently during off-shift hours
• Comfortable working in a chemical manufacturing environment
