  • Notifying train crews of their assignments in a timely manner

  • Maintaining accurate records of crew assignments, hours worked, and availability

  • Coordinating with dispatchers, trainmasters, and other departments to ensure smooth operations

  • Monitoring crew availability and managing crew changes as needed

  • Ensuring compliance with labor agreements, safety regulations, and company policies

  • Handling emergency crew calls and reassignments as necessary

  • Providing excellent customer service to crew members and other stakeholders

  • Assisting in the preparation of reports and documentation related to crew scheduling

  • Coordinating vehicle transportation for crew assignments as required

  • Investigating and addressing customer complaints

  • Previous experience in crew management or scheduling (preferred)

  • Experience or understanding of supervisory roles within an FRA-regulated railroad environment

  • Knowledge of FRA regulations on operating rules, GCOR, timetable, and special instructions

  • Familiarity with the physical layout and operation of the Authority’s rail system

  • Strong people and management skills to ensure professional interaction with the operations team

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from boring daily routines

  • Work with a dedicated team to optimize train operations and ensure safety compliance

  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues

  • Contribute to innovative projects

  • Utilize our safety-focused working environment

  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries

Pay Range

$90,000 to $105,000 depending on experience/qualifications.

This position is eligible for Railroad Retirement.

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
