Job Summary:

The Mountain Dispatcher monitors radio traffic and other systems, expedites communications, and dispatches company personnel and/or vehicles. This role is responsible for responding to emergent situations and providing excellent service to employees, resort leadership, and guests.

Job Specifications:

• Starting Wage: $20.00/hr -$23.23/hr

• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026

• Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available

• Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

• Housing Availability: Yes

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitors and responds to radio traffic
• Answers phone lines
• Documentation of daily activities and incidents
• Opening and closing procedures for resort operations
• Snow reporting
• Communicating with the public via social media and other channels
• Monitors weather and prepares weather reports for each day

• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Knowledge of ski resort industry
• Knowledge of Heavenly Mountain
• Desire to learn and grow
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English
• Comfort with public speaking
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email, word processing, and internet navigation, are necessary.

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr -$23.23/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
