Job Summary:
The Mountain Dispatcher monitors radio traffic and other systems, expedites communications, and dispatches company personnel and/or vehicles. This role is responsible for responding to emergent situations and providing excellent service to employees, resort leadership, and guests.
Job Specifications:
- Starting Wage: $20.00/hr -$23.23/hr
- Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026
- Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available
- Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age
- Housing Availability: Yes
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitors and responds to radio traffic
- Answers phone lines
- Documentation of daily activities and incidents
- Opening and closing procedures for resort operations
- Snow reporting
- Communicating with the public via social media and other channels
- Monitors weather and prepares weather reports for each day
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge of ski resort industry
- Knowledge of Heavenly Mountain
- Desire to learn and grow
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English
- Comfort with public speaking
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email, word processing, and internet navigation, are necessary.
The expected pay range is $20.00/hr -$23.23/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
