Remote | 6–8 Month Contract | NetSuite Experience Required

A growing and innovative organization is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support the finance team during a period of growth and operational enhancement. This is a fully remote contract opportunity expected to last 6–8 months , with the potential for extension based on business needs.

This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys improving processes, and has strong experience working within NetSuite . The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and supporting the broader accounting function.

Responsibilities

• Perform key duties related to monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and support compliance with GAAP
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and research variances
• Assist with financial statement preparation and management reporting
• Support external audits and respond to audit requests
• Help improve accounting processes, controls, and workflows
• Partner with FP&A, operations, and other departments on cross-functional initiatives
• Assist with system enhancements, reporting improvements, and data integrity within NetSuite
• Support multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 4 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close procedures
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP required
• Experience in a high-growth or rapidly changing environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of reconciliations, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial analysis
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

• Multi-entity and intercompany accounting
• Audit support and external audit coordination
• Process improvement and system optimization projects
• Public accounting experience and/or CPA designation
