Job Description:

At PayPal, Mobile Software Engineers are the architects of PayPal’s advanced applications for iOS platforms. You'll design, develop, and optimize core systems powering millions of transactions daily, delivering innovative solutions that delight customers and drive business success.

Your day-to-day:

As an iOS Software Engineer, you will:

• Drive architectural vision and innovation as a technical leader.
• Mentor and develop top-tier engineering talent.
• Spearhead mobile platform transformation initiatives.
• Define and execute the long-term mobile architecture.
• Mentor and develop senior engineering talent.
• Drive mobile platform transformation initiatives.

What you need to bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of hands-on mobile development experience (iOS and/or Android).
• Extensive experience architecting and building large-scale mobile applications.
• Proven leadership and ability to influence at all levels of the organization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with mobile payment technologies and integrations.
• Proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, and React Native.
• Knowledge of mobile performance optimization techniques.
• Experience with mobile payments and financial services.
• Deep understanding of mobile industry trends and competitive landscape.
• Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with external partners.
