Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year A bit about us: Founded in 1902, we have successfully been conducting operations throughout Northern California for the last century! With several new projects in the pipeline, we are excited to start our search for an experienced Project Estimator. As an Estimator, you will consistently generate positive feedback from clients and other team members and is critical to the company's commitment to building long-term relationships. You will ensure each project is completed on time and within budget by:
- Establishing consistent budgets at conceptual stages of design
- Quantify take-offs using OST
- Develop precise bid scope of work documents
- Subcontractor bidding and evaluations for client review and approval
- Creating baseline construction schedule
- Working with Marketing Dept. to develop proposals
- Leading the estimating role in project interviews/presentations

2. Supervising the construction process to ensure all safety and quality control standards are met.
3. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they fully understand expectations and responsibilities.
4. Reviewing work progress on a daily basis and resolving any arising issues or delays.
5. Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
6. Ensuring all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.
7. Preparing internal and external reports pertaining to job status and progress.
8. Implementing strategies to prevent delays and stay on schedule and budget.
9. Conducting regular meetings with project teams and stakeholders, reporting on progress, obstacles, and solutions. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Permanent Superintendent/Senior Superintendent position should possess the following qualifications: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role within the construction industry, with a significant part of that experience being in healthcare construction.
2. A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
3. An in-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
4. Excellent knowledge of construction safety regulations and procedures.
5. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
7. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
8. Proficiency in construction management software and other relevant computer applications.
9. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
10. A proven track record of completing projects to specifications and within budget and timeline.
