Janitorial Job Coach

NCI Affiliates is a dedicated non-profit organization focused on empowering individuals with developmental disabilities. We are seeking a passionate and committed Janitorial Services Job Coach to join our team at Camp Roberts Janitorial. This role involves providing training and support to individuals in our Supported Employment Program. The position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in the community while working a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays .

Qualifications

• Janitorial experience.
• Basic computer/technology skills and knowledge.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Previous experience working with developmentally disabled adults preferred.
• Must have own vehicle and maintain a current California driver’s license.
• Must provide on-going proof of current state required auto insurance. Driving is required!

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous instructions for work specific to vocational growth and training objectives.
• Monitor contract requirements to ensure quality of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitized environment in accordance with the Department of Health Standards and Regulations.
• Exhibit a courteous, positive, and professional demeanor while working with individuals served and the community.
• Ensure timely submission of all required paperwork including transportation paperwork, attendance, job coach notes, objective sheets, incident/accident reports, time studies, and case management documentation.
• Perform janitorial duties including servicing, cleaning, and supplying restrooms, gathering and emptying trash, litter removal, cleaning of building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming, and dusting furniture, fixtures, walls, machines, and equipment.

Compensation
