Physical Therapist - Travel Contract
Join a Los Angeles, CA outpatient clinic as a traveling Physical Therapist. Provide comprehensive evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and guide patients toward functional return to community activities. Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients. Serve as an educator to patients, families, students, and coworkers. Complete documentation, charge entry, and letters of medical necessity in compliance with applicable regulations and clinic policy. Participate in performance improvement initiatives and maintain professional licensure and ethical standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Active California PT license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred.
- Proven ability to complete comprehensive evaluations and develop measurable treatment goals.
- Competency in clinical documentation, charge entry, and letters of medical necessity in accordance with payer and regulatory requirements.
- Effective communication and teaching skills for working with patients, families, students, and interdisciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel PT experience preferred.
- Experience supervising or mentoring students preferred.
- Comfort with performance improvement activities and quality initiatives preferred.
