Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a Bilingual Maintenance Technician for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established manufacturing operation in Camarillo, CA.

The Maintenance Technician will support production uptime by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates with food and beverage manufacturing experience are especially encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, facility systems, and plant machinery.
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and support production goals.
- Complete preventive maintenance activities according to established schedules and safety standards.
- Diagnose equipment issues and respond quickly to maintenance needs on the production floor.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment service documentation.
- Partner with operations, production, and leadership teams to support a safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing environment.

Compensation and Benefits

- Direct hire opportunity.
- Pay range: $24 to $30 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
- Some overtime may be required.
- On-site role in Camarillo, CA.
- Background check and drug screen required.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Perform hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Support electrical maintenance needs within a plant or production environment.
- Respond to equipment downtime and help keep production running efficiently.
- Work closely with production teams to maintain safety, quality, and operational performance.

- 3 to 5 years of recent maintenance technician experience in a manufacturing or plant environment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to work on production machinery and facility equipment.
- Stable work history with demonstrated longevity in prior roles.
- Ability to work on-site in Camarillo, CA on a first-shift schedule.
- Strong communication, reliability, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and consistent equipment performance.

Preferred Qualifications

- Maintenance experience in food and beverage manufacturing.
- Experience working in a fast-paced production or packaging environment.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs, work orders, and plant safety procedures.
