Accounts Payable Specialist POST NUMBER: 464061

Vaco is working with a fast-growing manufacturing company based in Torrance, CA, who is looking for an AP Specialist to join their team.

Position Summary
The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a key role in supporting daily accounting operations, with an emphasis on invoice processing, vendor management, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position requires strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and hands-on experience using NetSuite .

Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner

• Manage AP-related inboxes and respond to vendor inquiries

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

• Prepare weekly payment runs and ensure compliance with internal controls

• Work closely with Purchasing, Receiving, and other internal teams to resolve PO/invoice issues

• Maintain organized AP records and support month-end closing activities

• Assist with process improvements and system optimization within NetSuite

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of Accounts Payable experience

• Mandatory: Hands-on NetSuite experience

• Strong knowledge of AP processes and best practices

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

• Proficiency with Excel (Vlookups, pivot tables a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of 3-way match processes

• Familiarity with inventory, purchasing, or ERP workflows
