Players Club Representative
DEPARTMENT: PLAYERS CLUB
REPORTS TO: MARKETING DIRECTOR POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Marketing Director provides positive guest experience by educating and assisting guests with the benefits of the Player’s Club. Player’s Club Representatives are responsible for enrollment, ongoing service, distribution of promotional items, and general overall guest service. They are required to approach guests on the floor while gaming to offer service as well as to make phone calls to guests offering them a reason to visit. QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 21 years or older
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED plus one (1) year of customer service experience
- Gaming experience preferred
- Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment drug screening, background investigation, and obtain and maintain a gaming license
- Must be able to communicate in the primary language of the workplace (English)
- Superior service orientated attitude
- Must have strong Computer Skills
- Must have a positive outlook and like to work in a team environment
- Must be comfortable approaching people, speaking with strangers and able to and conflict and problem solve calmly and effectively
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Responsible for the highest level of guest service including greeting customers, establishing relationships with guests and enrolling new members into the Player’s Club
- Educate and Instruct guests as needed on different promotions and events that are going on
- Go out on the gaming floor and inform uncarded guests about the benefits of the Player’s Club program and assist as needed with sign ups
- Reach out via telephone to high level players who have not been in recently
- Assist guests with services needed while playing on the gaming floor
- Look at dashboard reporting to see that high level players are greeted and assisted when they come in or are called if they have not been in
- Assist with execution of all promotions and events as needed
- Use diplomacy, patience, and control when dealing with a dissatisfied customer and refer any unresolved disputes to upper management at the earliest opportunity
- Assist management by identifying new/regular guests
- Work well in a team format
- Work any shift required including nights, weekends and holidays
- Other duties as assigned

While performing duties of this position, employees are required to stand for extended periods, frequently walk, perform repetitive motions, and have finger dexterity to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Occasionally reach, bend, and sit for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift 20 pounds with occasional lifting of more than 35 pounds, assisted. Ability to manage stress appropriately, make decisions under pressure, and manage anger, fear, hostility, and violence of others appropriately. The position requires the ability to process information using computer methods and technology, at times for more than 50% of the work time. Must be able to move chairs, tables, and props used for events as necessary. PUBLIC RELATIONS:
