Founding Sales Development Representative

As the Founding Sales Development Representative, youâll be at the front of our go-to-market motion: hunting for leads, mapping enterprise accounts, and creating demand for a new product thatâs reinventing one of the largest industries in the world. This is not a traditional SDR seatâyou will report directly to the General Manager and get a front-row seat and influence how our sales org is built.
This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop enterprise technology sales skills and to advance their careers. Overachievers will earn accelerated commissions and be well-positioned for promotion into closing roles.
What youâll do:
- Identify, research, and engage potential customers through outbound prospecting.
- Manage a well-organized pipeline of prospects in the CRM.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to refine sales messaging & outbound strategies.
- Meet or exceed quarterly goals for opportunities generated.
- 1 +year of experience as SDR, ideally involving outbound outreach or customer engagement.
- Strong communication skills, both written & verbal.
- Highly-motivated and goal-oriented.
- Thorough critical thinker who isnât afraid to take risks and make decisions.
- Self-starter who independently seeks out opportunities to learn & succeed.
- A growth mindset and a willingness to be collaborative with your teammates in the relationship building process.
- Bias-to-action - youâre not afraid to get your hands dirty & stretch yourself.
- Owner mentality - take accountability for your actions & results.
- Successfully able to work in high-growth & ambiguous start-up environments.
- The ability to thrive in a high customer volume, time-sensitive environment
- Â Proficiency in using Salesforce.com or other CRM
- Start-up or software B2B experience
- Able and willing to work in our San Francisco office.
