We're currently seeking an experienced bilingual (Spanish) Administrative Assistant. SUMMARY: The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing efficient, general administrative and clerical support to the Plant Manager and other supervisors/line managers. Areas of responsibilities include but are not limited to: office mail, inventory, employee engagement, assisting with training and new hire orientation, and administrative clerical work.
SCHEDULE: 1st shift, Monday-Friday, eight or more hours per day, five days per week based on business needs. Primary schedule will be 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, or similar.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
As the first point of contact via telephone and in-person, professional appearance and communication must be adhered to.
Assist with local Human Resources activities such as screening applications, scheduling interviews, conducting new hires orientation, processing employee documents, coordinating open enrollments, and liaising with corporate Human Resources department.
Understand and follow the employee handbook.
Use good judgment to determine when to consult with Human Resources management.
Create, revise and review documents and spreadsheets.
Maintain and organize schedules, appointments and meetings including confidential ones.
Receive, read, and distribute internal staff memos.
Purchase, organize and manage inventory of consumables, machine parts, janitorial, and office supplies.
Organize, maintain, and update plant and office records, documents, and reports.
Organize and maintain employee files, office documents, records, and reports.
Schedule appointments and meetings as needed.
Create logs and database entries, updating as required.
Ensure completion of Administrative Checklist.
Assist with other office assignments as needed.
Maintain a professional and pleasant office environment.
Complete and process all required tasks.
Maintain employee/organization confidentiality.
Regularly perform general housekeeping duties in your work area(s).
Adhere to all safety policies and protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
Attend all department/company meetings, as required.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalency
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a clerical/administrative role, preferably within manufacturing
Proficient computer knowledge, including Microsoft Suite, Google, fax, scanner, copier
Effectively communicate orally and written with all members of the internal organization as well as external
Detail-oriented and organized work ethic including efficient time management skills, with proven track record of completion of tasks/assignments
Intermediate HRIS systems experience (preferably ADP)
Preferred
Printing or Wide Format experience, preferred
Associates Degree preferred
