Your Role

Interaction Designers are responsible for designing the behavior of interactive products, from interaction models to micro-interactions. They create core scaffolding and guidelines such as architecture, user flows, and navigation models that shape user interaction, working closely with Visual Designers and Design Technologists to realize these in the final product.

As an Interaction Designer II, you may be the sole interaction design specialist on a program, expected to plan, prioritize, and deliver activities autonomously within interdisciplinary projects. You will lead client conversations within your domain, providing recommendations and guiding client decisions.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Bridging research insights and tangible concepts
• Simplifying complex systems or large data sets into models
• Refining concepts into narratives addressing business opportunities, technical feasibility, and organizational setup
• Applying appropriate interaction patterns in context
• Collaborating with visual designers and developers

Your Profile

You should have experience and a proven ability to think commercially, strategically, and creatively.

Ideal Candidate Characteristics:

• 4+ years of professional interaction design experience (titles like UX designer or product designer are also relevant)
• Strong design skills demonstrated in your portfolio
• Confident presentation and storytelling skills
• Experience working with multifunctional teams
• Proficiency with current design and prototyping tools and methods

Preferred: A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related artistic discipline
